(PRWEB) July 21, 2009 — The Professional Writers Association announces the debut of their Web site. The site is the online hub for a professional association that caters to those who are writers and those who are working to become writers. It features a members-only area where members can take advantage of writing-related articles, resources, a discussion forum, videos, and more.
“The association and site have one mission in mind, and that is to support the professional writer,” explains Jacqueline Bodnar, founder of the Professional Writers Association (www.prowriters.org). “Members can network, find tips and tools to assist them, and stay informed through a monthly newsletter. Being a part of the group puts you one step closer to success in the field. We help guide you to where you want to be.”
Membership in the Professional Writers Association is offered on a yearly basis and is open to all current writers and those striving to become one. The group welcomes both fiction and nonfiction writers, especially those engaged in article writing, grant writing, white papers, Web writing, copywriting, corporate communications, public-relations writing, and more. The information on the PWA Web site is geared mainly toward the freelance writer, but is also useful for those who are not self-employed. Now that the group has a site, they plan to offer online writing courses, as well, in the upcoming year.
